If you have new employees who are starting to work in the middle of the month, you need to specify the employment start date so that the standard working hours display correctly.
Follow the steps below to set the employment dates.
Step1. From the system dashboard, click “Users” and select the user you want to edit the employment dates
Step2. Click on
Step3. Click on
the calendar icon to enter the employment start date. Therefore, if the
employee joined on the 6th day of January 2021, the employee cannot
punch in before the date; neither can he add manual time before the employment
start date. In addition, the employee’s standard hours will only appear after
the joining date.
Step 4: Click
Save to capture the employment start date correctly.
From the report below, the employees, standard hours will
appear only after the start date and not before.
