How to enable / disable notes on Punch via mobile phone

In order to enable the notes and comments feature on the TimeClock 365 mobile app, the administrator must first configure the contract settings.

Here are the revised steps:

  1. Install the TimeClock 365 mobile app on your mobile device. You can download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

  2. Log in to the app using your TimeClock 365 credentials.

  3. Once you have logged in, you will be taken to the main screen of the app. From here, tap the “Punch” button at the bottom of the screen.

  4. On the Punch screen, you will see a field for “Notes.” This is where you can add any notes or comments you want to include with your punch. Tap the field to open the keyboard and start typing your notes.

  5. After you have added your notes, you can then select the type of punch you want to make (Clock In or Clock Out).

  6. Before you can save your punch with notes and comments, the administrator must first enable this feature on the contract settings. To do this, the administrator should go to “Settings” in the TimeClock 365 web application, then click “Contracts” and select the contract that the employee is associated with. The administrator should then click “Edit” and go to “Timeclock Conditions for Smartphone.”

  7. In the “Timeclock Conditions for Smartphone” section, the administrator should enable the box “Show Notes on Punch In” or “Show Notes on Punch Out,” depending on when they want the notes to be recorded. The administrator can also make the notes mandatory by checking the box “Notes are Mandatory.”

  8. Once the administrator has enabled the notes feature, you can then save your punch with the notes and comments included by tapping the “Punch” button on the app.

And that’s it! You have now enabled notes and comments on your Punch via the TimeClock 365 mobile app. If you have any further questions or issues, please contact your TimeClock 365 administrator for assistance.
