Punch in only where the work is
Every punch can carry a GPS location. Add a site with a radius around it, and employees on that work agreement can punch in only inside the area - or you just record where they were.
- Radius per site - 50-200 meters works well for an office
- Location in reports - as an address or on a map
- Your choice - require location, or turn it off per contract

With the Employee Location Tracking module, the app updates the location at the interval you choose during working hours. Get an alert when employees arrive at or leave a customer's area, or turn GPS off.

Frequently asked questions
Is the TimeClock 365 app free?
Yes. The app is free on the App Store and Google Play. Employees sign in with their TimeClock 365 account, and the features they see depend on the company's plan and settings.
What can employees do in the app?
Punch in and out with the work type (Office, Home, Field or Abroad), take breaks, start and switch tasks, request time off with a photo or file, view and approve their timesheet, and get clock-in and clock-out reminders.
Does the app record the employee's location?
If the company requires it, the app records the location on every punch. Location can also be turned off per work agreement. The location is shown in the attendance report and on a map.
Can I stop employees from clocking in away from the site?
Yes. Add the site address with a radius (50-200 meters works well for an office) and restrict the work agreement to that location. Employees can then punch in only inside the area.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. If there is no connection, the punch is saved on the phone and sent to TimeClock 365 when the connection is back.
Can I track field employees during the day?
Yes. With the Employee Location Tracking module (Premium), the app sends the location at the interval you choose during working hours, and managers can get alerts when employees arrive at or leave a customer's area.
Can I block clocking in from the app?
Yes. Turn off mobile reporting for a specific employee, or allow app punches only from set locations for everyone on a work agreement.
