With the “Contracts History” feature companies can select different date ranges for various contracts.
Contracts History can be of use in the following or similar situations:
Now you will be able to see the transition of contracts in reports and which contract is assigned to which user.
Go to “Users” -> click on the employee/user you want to assign a new contract to -> scroll down to “Contract Information” -> click on the “+” to assign user to a different contract (start date can only be in the past or “today”)
The new contract will come into force on the date that is chosen.
Users can only be assigned to one contract at a time and there will be no period in time, where a user has no contract associated with them.
Since there is only a start but no end date for any given contract, the end date of the previous contract will
Here is an example of contracts history, where an employee switches back and forth between two contracts:

When adding a new contract to the contracts history, it is important to be aware of the following conditions:
