This guide explains how a system administrator can grant themselves permission to edit attendance reports that have been automatically locked by the system.
Note: This process applies only to reports that are locked automatically based on your company’s settings (for example, at the end of a payroll period). It does not apply to reports that have been locked after an employee’s and his manager’s final approval.
Step-by-Step Instructions to Edit a Locked Report
- Navigate to the Roles Settings:
- Click on Settings in the main menu
- Select Roles
- From the list of roles, click on Administrator
- Adjust Editing Permissions:
- Expand the “Editing settings” tab
- Check the box for “Locked time entries”
- Click Save to apply changes
Once enabled, administrators can edit locked attendance reports.
