How to Change the Timezone for Your Company or a Specific Employee
This guide explains how to set the correct timezone in TimeClock 365, ensuring all attendance data is recorded accurately. This is essential for managing teams across different geographic locations or for correcting the initial setup of your account.
You can configure the timezone in two ways:
- For the entire company: Sets a default timezone for all users.
- For a specific employee: Overrides the company default for an individual user, which is ideal for remote employees in different regions.
How to Set the Default Company Timezone
- Navigate to Settings.
- From the settings menu, click on Company Profile.
- On the Company Profile page, locate the Timezone dropdown menu.
- Select the correct timezone for your company from the list.
- Click the Update button to save your changes.
How to Set the Timezone for a Specific Employee
- Navigate to the Users tab from the main menu.
- Click on the name of the employee whose timezone you wish to update.
- On the employee’s profile page, scroll down and expand the Contact Details section.
- Find the Timezone dropdown menu within this section.
- Select the correct timezone for that specific employee.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
