This guide explains how to generate the specialized report required for the Israel Innovation Authority.
It also details the important validation rules and visual indicators, such as watermarks and error messages, that ensure the report’s accuracy and compliance before submission.
Step-by-Step Guide
Part 1: Generating the Report
- Navigate to Reports in the main sidebar and select the IIA Report from the menu.
- Use the filters to select the desired Employee(s) and Period. You can use a predefined period or specify a custom date range.
- Click the Print with modifications button. This will open a new tab with a print-ready version of the report, including all specific formatting required by the IIA.
- “DRAFT – NOT APPROVED” Watermark
If the report is generated for a period that contains even one unapproved day, the entire document will be marked with a DRAFT – NOT APPROVED watermark. This watermark is removed only after all days within the selected date range have been approved by both the employee and manager. - Time Worked Not Enough Error
The system will prevent approval of the IIA report if there is a significant discrepancy between expected and actual work hours. When this condition is met, the report cannot be approved. The approval function will be disabled for this report, both on the report page itself and within the dedicated IIA approval flow, until the discrepancies are corrected.
