TimeClock 365 can help your employees report attendance automatically or semi-automatically, based on how you configure it.
What TimeClock 365 can do:
- Fully automatic attendance reporting, with no need for the employee or a manager to do anything.
- Close out the day if the employee clocked in but forgot to clock out, or the other way around.
- Automatically close the day once the employee has worked more than a set number of hours beyond their standard.
Note: the system calculates with a margin of up to a quarter of an hour.
- Go to Settings, then Work Agreements, then click the work agreement you want this to apply to.
- Scroll down and open the "Automatic Day Closing" tab.
Option A: Zero Touch
The system automatically clocks the employee in and out at a chosen time, based on their standard hours. The system will set both clock-in and clock-out at 22:00 if the employee has not reported by that time. Note: the system calculates with a margin of up to a quarter of an hour.
Option B: Complete the missing entry
If a clock-in was recorded without a clock-out, or the other way around, the system completes the missing entry based on the standard hours in the work agreement. For example, if the employee's standard is 07:00 to 15:36 and they clocked in at 08:00, the system will automatically clock them out at 16:36. Note: the system calculates with a margin of up to a quarter of an hour.
Option C: Close after exceeding the standard
The system automatically ends the day if the employee has worked more hours than their standard. It sets clock-out 3 hours beyond the standard - for example, if the employee clocked in at 08:00 and their standard ends at 16:36, the system will set their clock-out at 19:36. Note: the system calculates with a margin of up to a quarter of an hour.
